Ford misfire graphic showing same lack of contribution revealed by ADDi frequency mode.
The ADDi is an automotive labscope test adapter that allows a technician to “tune in” to automotive fuel system and engine frequencies. This tuning process eliminates unwanted noise and permits amplification of desired signals. Though primarily designed for dynamic analysis of GDI high-pressure fuel systems, the ADDi can also be used to enhance practically any signal under the hood.
(Each ADDi is built by hand, please allow 4-6 weeks for shipping.)
This mode is designed for dynamic GDI fuel system analysis. Our device “Tunes in” to specific automotive fuel system and engine frequencies, permitting adjustable amplification of the output signal to your scope.
This mode makes dynamic GDI fuel system testing possible on newer vehicles equipped with SENT (Single Edge Nibble Transmission) sensors. Our device provides decoded J2716 SENT analog signal and allows tuned and amplified output to your scope.
This feature allows virtually any labscope to perform arithmetic channel type tests, such as, using the crankshaft sensor to identify cylinder misfires with no setup of complex filters or functions. Our device provides a scaled and zoomed analog output of frequency signals, allowing relative comparison on your scope.
